To my way of thinking P&H is a disaster. When I enlarge a thumb someone has posted in P&H, it is slow to load and has ads. Why anyone uses P&H is beyond me.
I have used Imagebam augmented by Imagevenue (for the images that IB bans) for years with almost no problems. |

Can't we at least temporarily ban P&H?
Pain in the a.. to collect them pic by pic. At the IHG board there are various attempts to fix P&H but so far these only seem to work here and there and no generally. |

"Tits down" describes the problem more accurately I think

I always had many problems with imgbox.
When redirecting to a (spam) webcams page. However it could be seen, which is now impossible Comes out like this -- We're sorry, but something went wrong. If you are the application owner check the logs for more information. .. What's going on? someone knows? thanks

Get the same notice for imgbox.

I do quite a bit of corresponding with Flo, one of the main techs at imgbox. I sent her an email a short time ago regarding imgbox's current problem. She has not gotten back to me yet, but that may be due to her being busy with this issue, or perhaps the time difference factor.
I can only say that if and when imgbox should encounter an issue or goes down typically it is resolved in short order, and so for them to be down all day indicates to me that it must have been something sizable and serious, and I'm sure they are working to get the site back up ASAP.

My recommendation is whenever any imgbox user notices an issue or problem developing send them an email via the feedback link provided on the "Upload Images" page. Most often Flo receives them and appreciates the heads up. She is really terrific. Flo is to imgbox like what Jenny is to VEF!

I think its safe to say that you never expect the worst after a few hours , even days
unless theres something official on their site / forum that we saw with someimage. Sometimes bad things happen a server or 2 and stuff is down A few hosts have moved their servers in the past with no mention that they were doing it Personally i wont go near P & H because I know from this thread its not fully available in at least 6 countries When they stuff up they do it better than most I wont use imagevenue any longer to upload to because it requires the security nightmare plugin adobe flash. That and the fact I find their entire set-up cumbersome when you get too many galleries.40 pages worth is where I'm stopping. The smartest thing I've seen said of late is if your going to run risky plugins use them in a stand alone browser that you just use for uploading content Its the general browsing where these plugins can become a nigthmare because patches take time to plug exploits - browsers like the popular firefox dont update their plugins automatically from what i've read. Thats a recipe for disaster |

I used to think I was lucky using Imagebam, but I've been having A LOT of problems tonight. I think I'm on my fifth attempt at uploading a gallery at the moment. It all went downhill after I accidentally closed my browser on my first upload. I deleted the half-uploaded gallery, and started again. However, only part of the gallery uploaded. On my third and fourth attempts, nothing uploaded at all! The entire gallery was blank. I've never had this happen. Has anyone else?
