Went to see Mum today , hailed while on the Ring Road, then went passed your general area on the way through to Geelong ............... wound down the window for a smoke, wound it straight back up ........ Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !!! Froze

First, sorry to have been absent for a while - mum hospitalised and I've been busy.
So what does this have to do with Oz I hear you say? Well, she is in Harefield Hospital and she is in (wait for it!) the ANZAC wing. The site was first used as a hospital in the First World War when an Aussie ex-pat offered his house and land as a place to treat wounded Australian and New Zealand soldiers. The place grew and grew from there and was eventually bought by the British government and turned into a full-time hospital. ANZAC day is commemorated here every year and at the local church in Harefield. Never knew that connection till now. Thanks Aussies |

Woke up this morning around 6:00 and according to my weather app it was 3.1'C and felt like 0.8'. Brrrrrrrrrrrr! Made a quick dash to the loo then back to bed til 8:30.
