I was her roommate for a semester at Rhode Island School of Design. She lived in one room with bf Cory Parker, a slim darkhaired Chicago guy with a mustache. Together they had travelled Europe on her Playboy money. He tried to smuggle hash and they were arrested. Her 'immoral' posing did not help in court. She got a term of under a year, and served it okay. He got a longer term, on a prison island, and after a while he simply swam for freedom, and was rescued by a fishing boat.
She was a small person, cute but not spectacular. In architecture classes we shared, she had a rather rigid intellect. Cory was often bored and wanted to hang with me. He returned to Chicago to run nightclubs. She broke her lease soon after, leaving me with high long-distance phone bills, so I seized some of her stuff. Eventually I gave up on getting reimbursed. We did not get along well.

About Playboy photography, she told me, they do not retouch the photos - they do a lot of makeup work on the girls' bodies.

The expert photo retouching of Playboy photography, especially in the 60s through the 80s, was the best in the world. You will find very few published photos that are not retouched.
