From what I remember, she was supposed to be that years's PMOY all but announced but at the last moment they flipped it to Jenny McCarthy.

She was also in a pictorial before she was a playmate, models of Miami or something in a previous issue. She looked great in the photo from that pictorial. She was probably asked to be a playmate because of that shot. Unfortunately, as has been said already, her implants were pretty obvious in her playmate pictorial. Possibly disappointing I suppose.

If she was meant to be the PMOY, her obvious implants may be part of what ultimately shot her down. While it's true Jenny McCarthy also had/has today implants, her surgeon did such a good job with them that many people didn't realize she had them for years afterward.

I thought that they were fairly obvious but at least her nips point in the right direction and her boobs have a decent shape, though still not quite a natural shape given their size in my opinion. Young's have an odd shape in addition to the weird nipple angles.

There have been a lot of PMoY's with implants; probably a majority of them in the '90's and 2000's.

I'll take natural B's with nice shape over implants every day of the week.

I like her fine, implants or not. She had a lovely, friendly face. Great body too. I wish there were photos of playmates just wearing t-shirts or loose tops. I wish she had continued modeling and appearing somewhere.

Juliana was and still is beautiful all around. She is still one of my favorite busty playboy models along with Janet Lupo, Karen Price, Patti Farrinelli[?], et al.

I saw her at a Playboy event years ago in Los Angeles. It was similar to the "Glamourcon" events, but the models at this one were either Playmates or models from their special editions. Ms. Young was in attendance as a guest. She didn't have a table but was just walking around the audience and in a convention room filled with models she easily stood out.

If there were ever a challenger to my all-time Playmate, Kelly Tough, it was Julianna Young, who to this day is my second favorite.

When her edition came out she was two years older than me, which I thought unusual, but really cool. I bet she still looks great and I certainly never knew she was considered for the PMOY.
