Back in the 70's I worked for a window cleaner who'd lost his driving licence because of his drinking.

Some days I'd be driving him to a job and the poor bastard would be vomiting blood into a bucket.

Died a few months later of liver disease - he was 40 but looked older than I do now at 67.

He's one of the reasons I've been almost teetotal all my life.

Apparently Stormy Daniels is going into the house for the new series of Celebrity Big Brother on UK TV. Could be worth a watch.....or even a listen to for once.

I could careless about big brother, and it's not the first reality series to feature a porn star. Ron Jeremy starred alongside no less a personage than Lionel Blair in one several years ago on Channel 5 called The Farm-came across as a very affable person.

Homelessness knows no bounds, it doesn't discriminate, any age, religion or standing from high-powered executive to housewife or single parent or school leaver/university graduate it can strike anyone down at anytime so if the Government thinks it is going to eradicate it by the mid 2020's it had better get some decent funding and money to help charities to help these people because one day it MIGHT be you. And what exactly is affordable housing? No-one has actually come out with a figure that would be acceptable and well affordable for the average worker.

But Ron Jeremy (and Lionel Blair) had nothing to do with the possible impeachment of a US President (as far as I know).

Yeah I know but I was making the comparison that Stormy Daniels an ex-porn star was appearing on a British reality show but this wasn't the first time that that's happened. Mind you a British model, Christine Keeler once nearly brought down the British Government in a scandal in the 60's (John Profumo)

In my experience it does tend to be more prevalent among smackheads and alkies and basketcases rather than well educated people with decent incomes - you don't see too many of those sitting outside the all night fag shop with a paper cup saying " Ye goat ony chynge mate ?"

One wonders why the Labour Government didn't solve the homelessness problem when they were in power.

Now there's a man in charge who's trying to make sure the Labour in the name actually means something and who might do something about the problem you mentioned and that's precisely why he's under fire.
