Default OGM to MP4 Converter

Desperately seeking help in converting an OGM movie file I downloaded recently into a format I can burn to disc ( so it can be used on a DVD player), such as MP4 or AVI.

Of course I'm looking for freeware and simplicity

I've tried 'Freemake converter' 'Avidemux' and a whole other bunch of stuff I found on Google with no luck.

Any help/advice gratefuly recieved.

Thanks in advance.

I found these on wikipedia, where there is more info on these file types.

I have no idea if they are good or not

Thanks for the info, Luddite, the 'Mirovideoconverter' looks like a usefull program.

I found and downloaded 'Free studio 5', which is a 66Mb suite of 47 different programs for converting, burning, downloading etc. It's free and easy to use, converted my OGM file to MP4 really fast, and you can burn OGM's direct to DVD.

Thanks again.

I've been using Bulk Image Downloader for extracting pictures from posts on this and other forums but just recently it's been playing up. Can anyone recommend a similar, preferably free, program that does the same job? Cheers!

Imagehost grabber plugin for Firefox, mentioned many times, with good reason -- it's excellent

Default Removing black borders (resizing)

Do know if this is the correct place to post this question. If not please move it.

I have two avi video files.

One had black borders

Is there some software I could install that would provide a means to remove these borders?

The other avi file has a narrow aspect ratio.

Is there some software I could install that would provide a means to change that aspect ratio to one that is less narrow?

Thanks
