The giant inflatable tube(s).

Unnamed in Men Only 44-05, 1979-05, "Pool hustler", photog. Rupert Daines, see Cream Cheese here.

Related pics. were published as Ariana in Lui (Es), 1979-09, photog. J. P. Bourgeois, thanks to bourschwa.

Apart from the colours, the "equipment" seems exactly the same--inflatable tube, ropes, wooden frame, gas bottle & hose... even the models' sunglasses look the same. The background wall, too, I think is the same, it just looks slightly different in blue because of the camera angle?

This blue set in Chic is dated the earliest of the three, and the correspondences are so exact that I don't think the red ones were somehow made by someone else in "imitation" of Baes' blue set.

A further link between the names Adam Cole and Fanny:

in Club International (UK) 09-03, 1980-03, the set of Camille, photog. Adam Cole, and the set of Jayne Hill as Marie, photog. Fanny, both feature a white bed cover with a distinctive pattern of red triangles. The settings are otherwise different but it and the other, earlier links may not be simply coincidental.

The following might simply be a mag. credits mix-up.

Related pics. of Georgie Steer appeared in:
  • Mayfair 20-06, 1985-06 as Penny Patterson, see here, credited to Mario Marnoto.
  • --
  • Plus (Fr) no.11, 1979-03 as Sophie, see here, credited (in toc) to Michel Moreau.
  • Knave 12-03, 1980-03, set titled "Chips", see Cream Cheese here, credited to Michel Moreau.
So, might Mario Marnoto perhaps be an aka for Michel Moreau | Michael Moore | Michael Ancher? Further links would first need to be found.

Default Flodqvist & Sass?

Is it possible that Allan Sass is another a.k.a. of photographer Peter Flodqvist?

I just found these 2 scans of Karen Brennan (High Society Germany or Netherlands, 1988, July, number 7). Flodqvist is named as the photographer on the pictorial. :

However, I have had this scan for some time (I don't remember where I got it) but I recorded the photographer as Allen Sass. I can no longer find this pictorial in my collection & so far have spent almost 4 hours searching VEF and have not found it here, yet. (All my info of the scan is in the file name. ):

Does anyone have more information about Flodqvist = Sass, or perhaps Ms Brennan's pictorial?

My collection of scans & info. on Karen Brennan is pretty patchy but your pics. of KB as Esther, with the Peter Flodquist credit, are from High Society (De), 1988-07, here.

Related pics. from that set were in Cheri, 1988-07, see here, here. Unfortunately no photog. credit is shown.
Likewise related pics. were in High Society Busen Spezial (De) no.901, here, date unknown and again photog. unknown.

More pics. from that setting here, here but photog. uncredited.
One of the pics. here looks identical to yours, but full mag. info. not given or photog. credited.

I will leave the debate of the significance of Flodqvist = Sass connection to you folks as my 'professional skills' end at this point.

Big thanks to effCup!

I don't think those pics. are all from the same mag. The first pic. is dated 1994-01 in its filename, then there's pics. from Monthly Glamour, 1991-07, shown in the filenames, with the pink wall setting, then there's pics. from "Special 1" in the filenames, with the straw & cart setting & red scarf. I think it would be a mistake to assume the Allan Sass credit for the middle pics. also applied to the others. The first pic., for example, is from an indoor pool setting associated with a different photographer--Donald Milne took photos. of Toni Shilleto there in c.1987-9, see here, here, here... yes, OK,the Milne photog. credit is missing from those but it was present in the Mayfair Girls of Summer 1989 printing.

Here is something to be aware of. Peter Flodquist had a brother who was also a photographer. His work was also published in magazines so a credit of simply Flodquist could be either brother.

I found more Flodqvist = Sass stuff. (Sorry, I am not doing this on purpose.)

Below is the beach photoshoot of Kirsten Imrie shoot attributed to Ulf Stjernbo (alias of Flodqvist I believe) (Club mag UK, 1990, vol 19 #3):

And below are the same pics, published by DOMAI and copyrighted to Sass.

I do not have anymore info. about the DOMAI set.

e.d.

P.S.: I agree with all of your input/comments on the last parallel I posted. If I find anything different I'll keep you posted.

Added: Flodqvist = Stjernbo is here
