It would be very difficult for India to maintain nuclear weapons and a space program if we didn't give them aid.

However, US lawmakers definitely are "bought" -- it's not called "the best government money can buy" for nothing They also have interesting desires for the UK economy after Brexit. Good luck, if the USA is your great hope. Because it's not 1941 anymore, and it's not wise to live in a time bubble and think they'll "save your ass" again when they have no reason. This link explains what they want https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/ent...4?guccounter=1 |

You tried to claim the moral high ground with that snipe at the pharmaceutical industry. But then ask yourself what are the ties between the Brexiters and the pharma corporations, and what are the Brexiters' plans concerning a rampant privatisation of the NHS: https://www.independent.co.uk/voices...-a8194751.html https://www.theguardian.com/politics...trade-deal-nhs https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/66...European-Union https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/politi...voted-12897188 But hey, that's the ironic beauty of Brexit: Those who voted Leave to save the NHS will get the opposite. |

I narrowly avoided spraying coffee all over my computer the first time I saw BoJo claim he could make a better deal with the U.S. than the E.U. provided. We have only modest goals. All we want is control of your economy. We will let you go on electing whatever puppet you like, so long as we approve. |
