Who? To quote my late father on the subject of the tv license fee when considering the bilge on air "They should give us a tv and pay us to watch it"
And you want to pay money for more shit?

The worst UK TV shows of 2018 for me, have been - roughly in order of hatred:

ITV Celebrities in the Jungle - Aimed directly at the hard of thinking. Purile crap. No, I don't watch it but have caught some of the show while waiting for the ITV news to start.
BBC Dr Who, the latest season - I hated every episode of this show with its PC messages, wooden acting and stupid storylines.
BBC The Bodyguard - Overhyped, with a couple of good action scenes, but stupid ending.
BBC The Apprentice - Crap for morons.
BBC Holby City - Casualty - The same thing over and over.
BBC Masterchef - I used to be a big fan of this programme. Now, I'm fed up with the whole thing. It's gone stale. Ripping apart dead animals, stupid visits to restaurants where they serve expensive stuff that would make me throw up if I ate it. The pompous critics.
BBC Sports Personality of the Year - Endless back slapping.
BBC BAFTA Awards - Horrible backslapping. I don't care who wins what!
BBC/Commercial Stations - Endless sports presentations during the summer. Ultra boring if you just want entertainment and have never had the sports bug.
All Channels Comedy shows - these are just not funny.
ITV/BBC - Terrible, tired soaps like Eastenders and Cornation St. In the case of Eastenders, they should be ashamed of the awful production standards and need a decent lighting cameraman on set.
News Channels - Often with hidden social engineering and messages.
There are other programmes, but these are the ones that immediately come to mind.

While not everything is bad on UK TV, I would cut out 80 percent of all UK terrestrial viewing if I lived on my own and could probably manage with just the Internet which is now part of our TV viewing and Amazon or Netflix.

Thumbs down

The Shivering Truth

Some pre-forties online critics have hailed it as a masterpiece. Some call it an anthology. Basically, if you took the puppety World Police movie, made it stop animation, then came up with a bunch of really weird and stupid and NOT AT ALL DEEP vignettes and crammed them together, then threw in a little Malcolm In The Middle for flavoring...well, then, you would have this show. It's stupid. It's pointless. I suppose it's worth watching if you're high...but then so is anything else. If you like to be weirded out and you're tripping, and you like things like Archer, then by all means watch this crap. The effort of creating a stop animation television show does not give you the license to create shit. Food does. D

Err...? Most of us..! Why would you want to pay thru the nose for the likes or Sky, BT, Netflix.... when you have a hundred channels for free; not to mention the net or dvd players?

I've never paid for TV; I've even refused to pay for a license as of a few months back, as I never watch anything live on the BBC.

For some reason my good lady wanted to watch the three Elseworlds episodes of The Flash, Arrow and Supergirl.
In reverse order...stupid, stupider and stupidest!!!!
I stopped watching The Flash after two or three episodes because it was so fcukin' puerile and it hasn't improved one iota in three years.
Even in television, Marvel kicks DC in the cojones!

Default My Million Pound Menu on BBC2

Here is the synopsis of tonight’s edition.

Utterly pretentious modern food that I wouldn’t touch with a shit-tipped stick. Not seen either the first series or the first two episodes in this second series and on this showing I won’t be catching up on the earlier editions.

The first dish was best described as what remained of a side salad smeared on a wooden board that needed a good scrub under a hot tap in a Belfast sink. After a few more minutes I turned off the sack of sifted shit masquerading as entertainment.

Presenter and host Fred Serieux was the only one i could warm to in the 2018 ITV series Gordon Gino and Fred. However as one of the other two was the nasty fantasist, pretend footballer and fake Scotsman Gordon Ramsay that’s saying nothing.

The 1960s TV show Lost in Space. Loved it as a kid and found it again on one of the Retro TV channels. Only now do I realize how awful it was.

Oh, hell no !

This is magnificent.

Jonathan Harris gives one of the most wildly gay in an ostensibly concealed way performances of all time. Note that C3PO's relationship with R2D2 owes a lot to Dr. Smith

He goes in the pantheon with Paul Lynde and Liberace; sometime in the future, social historians will have a hard time explaining how these Nellies managed to maintain the pretense that they were straight (and why).
