Imagehost Problems, Imagebam, Imagevenue, PimpAndHost, PixHost, ImgBox etc - Page 139

There are currently issues with images formerly uploaded to (thumbnails)105.imagebam.com (server 105). It may be worthwhile to wait a few days before reporting those images as being dead. Please check ImageBam's Support forum (it's the only one I know of on a image host

) before reporting problems here. On the contrary, rather inform us about problems that are already known there.

Are you using Firefox? It stores zoom settings on a site by site basis. Perhaps you pressed Ctrl-+ without realising it. Try Ctrl-0 while on ImageBam and see if that fixes it.

ImageHost grabber doesn't seem to work with Imgbox anymore. Same problem with Imgclick (but I understand they want you to pay for that one now).
Anyone else having problems?
BTW - as soon as I can afford a new scanner I'll have some more things to put up. Sorry for the absence.

If imagbox is pay only now it should be banned.
For now you can still try to show the source code of the post in the browser and copy the section with the links into JD2, it can still download from imagebox.

Imagebox is Not Pay Only and is Ok to Use Here at VEF.
It Mostly will not work with ImageHostGrabber[Firefoxplugin]
But will work with JDownloader provided the original Uploader selected a Gallery Option...

I too use imgbox and I have no problems with it. In fact, I find it to have far less problems than any of the other image hosts. I cannot recall the last time that I've had an issue with it, but it has been months.

imgbox is my second choice imagehost; I had (so far) no problems with images dieing on imgbox - only that when it was busy uploads would partially fail.

The reasons it is not my first choice: it is not straightforward/automatic to get icon links from images, and the imgbox links themselves contains no clue about the file names, so should an image die I would not generally know who's dead.

So I just tried to install this 'JDownloader' that everyone is going on about and managed to get no less than 4 malware items and a 'dregol' search engine planted on my PC.
I think I'll pass on that one.

I grabbed Jdownloader #2 from J4ZZ 's signature and didn't get any at all. where on earth did you download it from ?
