Effective immediately, moving or animated GIFs are not allowed in signatures. If your signature has one, please remove or replace it asap. Staff will remove them as and when we see them without notice.

Sincerest apologies to everyone for the recent blackout. VEF and several of our sister forums had a major server malfunction. The database index is being rebuilt from scratch and may take at least several days to be fully restored. Expect major weirdness and lots of glitches in the meantime. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

Unfortunately it seems that all of the posts made from the 13th March until the crash are permanently lost, please feel free to re-post any such material, apologies for this.

73north Veteran Member Join Date: Apr 2009 Location: Scottish Borders Posts: 1,890 Thanks: 16,318 Thanked 39,348 Times in 1,847 Posts	idea for Protective Sleeve for Large Magazines Hi I was having a clear-out of unwanted and old Vinyl LP Records and was taking off the protective plastic clear PVC sleeves I had bought - for re-cycling , then had the brain-wave , that if I altered them , I could use them for my vintage adult magazines , and it worked a treat ! the photo on the Left shows what it looks like when placed inside but before you come to trim to size so you can fit it inside your storage area ! What I did was fit the Magazine in length wise and then trim the open end to the width required , and then when they are placed up-right - in my Plastic magazine File - they look really good and are protected they are especially useful if you have over-sized magazines like the Spanish ' Lib ' from the 1970's or the NEW QT Magazine just an idea !
