We don't have a thread for this host so I'll start one off with a question,

Does anyone know how to transfer files from Filefactory to 1fichier?

They have an remote upload function.
Login and than go to:
http://www.1fichier.com/en//console/index.pl#ui-tabs-2
and follow the instructions:

Quote:

We can download and store Internet links for you.
To do so, put the links on the following box, one per line, up to 30.
The links need to have a URL form ( [http|ftp]://[user

assword@]URL )
A notification mail will be send to you when the download and publication will be done.

As usual u need an premium account on filefactory and directdownload must be activated.

If it really works i can not say, because i have no PA on filefactory. U have to try it.

I can't get it to work, I tried writing the links as they suggest [http|ftp]://[user: password@]URL so that it reads [http|ftp]://[user: password@ filefactory.com]URL obviously filling in my user and password details for FF but I keep getting a message about no valid link could be found.

If it really dont work, try to contact the 1fichier support and ask if filefactory is supported or not. The should know it better than me.

I've had an email back from 1fichier, they weren't much help,

Hello,

If you are premium member of the other hosting service, it should be possible
using basic authentication...

You must check their service for that.

I think I've finally got it figured out, the problem seems to be because the login for Filefactory is an email address and 1fichier didn't like the @ in the username.

I currently have 30 files in a queue waiting to be transferred, I had to do the link like this.

Code:

http://user%40email:password@filefactory.com/

then take one of my Filefactory download links,

Code:

http://www.filefactory.com/file/2v3bqwapch93/dal.rar

shorten it to this,

Code:

file/2v3bqwapch93/dal.rar

and then put the two together to make this,

Code:

http://user%40email:password@filefactory.com/file/2v3bqwapch93/dal.rar
