Default Filesharing Host with Free Account which doesn't delete files after 15-30 days?

Is there a free file sharing host (where you don't need a premium account) that will host your files and share them, and has no policy of deleting the files if they haven't been downloaded for months?

1fichier's policy for free accounts is that it will delete a file if it hasn't been downloaded in 15 days.

I'm thinking specifically of zip files I want to share.

I don't know if I should thank your post or not. Thumbs up for humor but not helping me out?

I found this list: https://forums.mydigitallife.net/thr...es-list.77269/

megaupload.nz and openload.cc have the following policy:

Quote:
How long will my files be online?

Forever. That is, if they do not meet one of the following conditions:
  • Files violating our Terms of Use. Please report any findings immediately.
  • Files older than 6 years and not downloaded in 5 years.
  • Files older than 3 months that has never been downloaded at all.
What are the limit of uploads?

You are free to upload as long as you don't exceed the following restrictions:
  • Max 20 GB per file
  • Max 500 files or 50 GB per hour.
  • Max 5,000 files or 100 GB per day.
That seems reasonable, and you don't need to pay or even have an account. The question then becomes will they go belly-up in a year.

My depositfiles account is a free one. They offer 90 days of storage without any downloads.

workupload - if you register you get 50gb for free, if you don't register you just upload as normal and both will store your files for 180 days. The only difference gained by registering is you can see how many downloads. Icedrive approx 15gb free, permanent storage, pcloud 10gb free permanent. With all three, DO NOT GIVE YOUR FILES OBVIOUS NAMES.

My 1Fichier free account is full ot the moment so I thought I'd see if my free Mediafire
account was still active, I haven't logged in for a couple of years, but it's still there, so
not considered as an "abandoned account", mentioned in their T&Cs.
Files from 2010 were still there! They say registered free users get indefinite file retention.
