Case in point: Yasser Arafat. I recall the last days of the Bill Clinton years. Right before he left office, he held a summit with Arafat and then Israeli PM Ehud Barak in yet another attempt at mid-east peace. Clinton had Barak ready to give Arafat everything he wanted.. and in the end, Arafat backed out of the deal and basically boned Clinton on the world stage.

Why? IMO it's because Arafat needed the issue far worse than he needed/wanted resolution. Had he agreed, and got everything he'd demanded, he'd become obsolete overnight. He'd lose his precious place on the world stage as the perennial victim. He'd lose the sympathy. He'd lose the audience. In short, there'd really be no reason for anyone to continue to pay attention to him. He couldn't have that. Being irrelevant would be a fate worse than death to any media whore.

The same is true for the race pimps here in America.. Jackson, Sharpton, Farrakhan, would NEVER admit that there's the slightest improvement in race relations. To do so would not be self serving. Like Arafat, they need the issue more than anything.. and the attention that comes with it. You get a lot of passes here in the states by playing the 'victim' or 'race' card. It's like a built-in excuse. They all fear becoming irrelevant and will do/say anything to make sure that never happens... including ignoring any progress, and inflaming a situation to make it appear worse.

You could probably apply this mindset many "causes" here in America.

There is the new term "cry-bully" (portmanteau of "crybaby" and "bully") for anyone who whines about their cause, but really wants to pass legislation picking on others who disagree.

An example might be the militant vegetarian/animal rights activists of the '90s.

Another example could be people who talk about "rape culture" or "safe spaces" at colleges.

They are usually leftist lunatics who hate white people, males, or capitalism.

Funny, I've read Amateuremale's post three times and I've yet to read where he says he's been shit on. I also imagine that he's never joined the Crusades, been a member of the Spanish Inquisition or fracked anywhere. Neither have I. So if he feels as though he's hated merely for being a white male by Lefties who give a pass for other nationalities and faiths who have a past of similar actions then maybe he has a point rather than appearing,according to you, ignorant.

I digress. Seems like hatred towards people on account of their race; in this instance, white people.

I'm white and male. I wasn't around during the Crusades or Spanish Inquisition. I try my best to look after the environment, including supporting what I consider to be worthy environmental causes. What countries have I destroyed? What cultures? I haven't knowingly or deliberately killed anyone in the name of God, profit, or for any other reason. Yes, I do feel like I am being shit on right here, and neither do I feel I am being ignorant in saying so.

I also respect the fact that by its very nature, this thread touches upon emotive subjects that often attract divided opinion. Despite being here a while this is the first time I've ever really participated in any kind of debate beyond eroticism. It is not my intention to seek offense wherever I can find it, or to get anything shut down just because I don't don't agree with it.

The dominance of Western European civilization has brought both positive and negative effects.

The Crusades is a really poor example. The Christians failed in their objectives and only succeeded in fatally weakening the Byzantine Empire. The Mongols were far more destructive to the Islamic world. The Muslim conquest of India was far more destructive to the native Hindu peoples than the Crusades. The Muslim conquests of the Byzantine Empire, North Africa and Spain created great havoc, too.

We humans of all colors are a murderous and short sighted bunch. It is really not surprising that the planet is reacting with measures to exterminate this little failed biological experiment.

Anyone who thinks males are exclusively to blame for human cruelty simply lacks experience with middle school girls and other centers of female dominance.
