Glade Creek Grist Mill in West Virginia. Just enough non-natural structure to give the landscape some accent, I think.

A few snaps from when I lived in Tehidy (Near the park) in West Cornwall ,

If you follow that path you then have to cross one of those narrow (Some would rightly say treacherous) country roads which`d bring you onto this path.

Keep following it for ninety feet or so and you discover you`re on a cliff overlooking the ocean

Sadly those photos aren't on the memory stick.

Nice to see all the pictures. You get immediately a better idea of the forum members. Unfortunately, it is also quite difficult to compete with the beauty of Australia or the US. But I will try.

Here are a few shots I made on a foggy winter day. Motifs are the Elbe, the beloved river of my childhood days, and our old city park. They do not depict an untouched nature in the actual sense, although the Elbe is one of the last few natural rivers of Germany.

The camera was a simple Canon PowerShot A 400. The pictures are cropped to 16:9. Well I am not a pro, so I'm quite sure I did a few things wrong here. Nevertheless, the intended overall impression remains the same in my opinion.

The viewing angle of the subject was chosen in a way that modern objects are avoided. I feel a little drawn back to the age of Romanticism.

An age in which the mysterious and cryptic dominated the artistic mind.
