I heard Kate managed to keep Her Six Pack Abs throughout the entire pregnancy.
I wish them well, however I am sick to death in hearing about this. My Ancestors fought and died to free themselves from the British Crown. So it is A bit disturbing to hear our news media outlets "both liberal and conservative" fawning over this non-story. |

That effin' birth made me go to bed early last night. Like most blokes, I like to watch the news before I go to bed. Watching footage of some place in the world getting blown to sh*t always sends me off for a good nights sleep.
But no. what did we have? Wall to wall coverage of some over-privileged bird having a kid. Hey guess what media? I'm male and not gay. I couldn't give a sh*t. It doesn't help that I'm a Republican as well (Not in the American Republican sense)and as somebody said in a previous post about Royalty bringing in the money, France seems to do rather well, even the Italians said Arrividerci to theirs after the second-world-war. Would people stop coming to these isles if The Sax-Coberg-Gotha's weren't in Bucks Palace? If you looked at all the crowds, they were about 90%female and the rest were friends of Dorothy. All it is now, is a bloody circus act.

I got back from holiday yesterday after two glorious weeks in the French Republic, straight into this media scrum. My worse-half`s immediate response was to say that we should have stayed on in France for another fortnight. But he is a cynic, not an anti-Monarchist and I think it is a testament to the enduring strength of the Monarchy that events such as these only seem to inspire cynicism and weariness, rather than outright republicanism. Weary acceptance may not be much of a rallying call to the Crown, granted, but it does still seem to be preferable to anything republicans have to offer.

Would the American TV networks be going stupid if Mrs Obama was having a baby? Of course they would, and theyre a Republic.

Intrinsically, I find my own life more engrossing than theirs, and I will keep the TV switched off until all this dies down. It is a little bit too much like The Truman Show to suit me. But I am fine with both of them; just not frightfully interested in their day to day lives

Point of order, she is NOT Princess Catherine.

Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge, then. Might as well get her title right I suppose, though if I'm perfectly honest, I am not all that fussed what titles she gets.

Much more important lately was Estreeter's smoking challenge and Greenman's disappearance. A royal anything is just a fascination I don't get. But then I have no idea why anybody gives a hoot about what Snookie and Konyay named their baby.
