Watching Animal Kingdom, the TV series about a mother (Ellen Barkin) and her boys pursuing a life of crime (ergo, they are the "animals") brought attention to Daniella Alonso (who played the wife of one of the bad boys in show's first season from 2016), although I had seen her in action in the past without paying attention.

(I have photos of the actress lined up for one of my many neglected VEF posts on an actress Daniella had a catfight with on the later Dynasty. It's been ready since I put up this post on Linda Evans and her catfight from the original show, and that was back in May. See? Even though I had somewhat scrutinized Ms. Alonso, when I was watching Animal Kingdom, I still did not recognize her.)



This résumé that came from Ebay dates back to 2004 or so, with
her big credit as a regular on the TV show ONE TREE HILL, which
I've not heard of. Notice she has listed what appear to be only
short films in the film section, while leaving out her big feature
film credit, ACADEMY BOYZ.

After all, she's no spring chicken, having begun over two decades ago, and having racked up over fifty screen credits, not counting individual TV episodes. She got started in earnest in 2001, in one episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent (2001) (spotlighted photographically below), although her first break was in a 1997 feature film called Academy Boyz (which an IMDb commentator called "Best movie never seen," with a second claiming it cannot be found anywhere).

Since still active but rarely-piping-up Member "lk_ie" began this thread in 2010, you may see VEF members haven't been too inspired to pay more attention to the lady. (Only six posts in over a dozen years, for God's sake.) Perhaps one reason is, as a presumably good Catholic girl, Daniella appears to have never gone "all the way" as far as exhibiting her choice anatomical parts.

lk_ie summed her up as a Latina, but her IMDb bio reveals her Hispanic end lies with Puerto Rico and Peru, but she also has a pinch of Japanese. Looks like she got started as a model (a Ford model, yet) — the lady is fairly tall, at nearly 5'7" — and the magazine work led to commercials, after which she made the transition to TV and films.



What struck me about Ms. Alonso was her nose. She has a beautiful ski slope nose. Bob Hope also had a ski slope nose, but four out of five surveyed agree he simply was not as sexy.



A few other screen caps from various episodes of 2016's Animal Kingdom. I thought I was going to put one over on the production team, because her last episode featured a bedroom scene, where it was "indicated" that she had removed her clothing.



The only angle that may have had secret nudity was almost pitch black (Yoo-hoo! 1970s? Where are you?), and nothing could be seen. (There was a shot showing humping action, finally featuring a clearly visible bare ass, but naturally the ass belonged to the man.) The "secret shot" had a point sticking out from the silhouette... could that have finally been the nipple of her exposed breast? So I lightened up the proceedings, and the thing that was sticking out... was the cover she had on top of her! Yes, she's making love in the nude, and there is a cover on top of her, for God's sake. (Naturally, when humans make love, they prefer for flesh to be rubbing against fles... excuse, me, blanket.)




At one time, the actress lent her presence to an ad for PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), which had promise, since PETA's famous campaign has been their 30-year-long and totally attention-catching "I’d Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur" ads where the organization persuaded "celebrities (to) take it all off," as explained on this page of their site — announcing there will be no more. (Not all celebrities took it "all" off, by the way... false advertising!)



The linked page above offered illustrated examples. I'm impressed there is one with Eva Mendes where she actually showed her bare bottom, as seen above. Naturally, there had to be a few ads with men as well (many maddeningly showing their bare butts when the women were not), although no one wants to see nude men. I see there were two with Black men, one being Dennis Rodman and the other a rapper, where the saying was "(Think) Ink, Not Mink." Oh, just noticed a white man from this series as well, Tommy Lee. So PETA was encouraging the dopes of society to get tattoos? (Go to hell, PETA.)



The fact that Daniella was involved with PETA was encouraging, since finally we might be able to see the lady "naked," albeit "thinly disguised." Well, no such luck. She was glammed up for a short video produced by PETA, but all we got were the usual "sexy" poses.






Let us now proceed to my labors seeking where Daniella chose to be most revealing on the screen. Her earliest feature films were in horror movies, and we know how actresses have been known to be looser at the beginning of their careers, especially in horror movies. Hood of Horror (2006) had Snoop Doggy Dog play a kind of crypt keeper, in his pimp guise with two hoes beside him, and here was an opportunity for Daniella to possibly expose herself a bit, but of course, she did not. She played an inner city girl who is up against neighborhood thugs, and then demonic Danny Trejo gives her powers to whup the daylights out of them.




Ms. Alonso had a sex scene with a mutant in her second horror flick from the following year, where she played a National Guard soldier who's up against the cannibals in The Hills Have Eyes 2 (2007). She finally got French-kissed on screen, at least.




Here is Daniella's first screen credit (after that 1997 feature film no one knows about), from the first season of Law & Order: Criminal Intent, in 2001. She appears to have been twenty-three at the time, and not as shy as she would generally be in later years.






One of several TV series the lady has appeared in was called Revolution, which ran from 2012–2014 for some forty episodes, and Daniella appeared in half of that run.

It appears (yep, not familiar with this show either) the greatest democracy in the world has turned tyrannical, and I guess Daniella was one of the heroes trying to set things straight. Look at this, however; it may have been the only time she ever got "really" naked, although of course we don't get to see anything.




Have no fear! She kept the panties on.

Her biggest run (64 episodes' worth) was in Dynasty, and when that show was cancelled last year, it looks like the now forty-five-year-old actress has been in no hurry (as of now) to get back into the swing of things.
