As yesterday was the 100th anniversary of Women gaining the vote and the Suffragette movement, I thought this long quote from 'Blackadder Goes Forth-episode 'Private Plane' especially the last TWO sentences.

I noticed that when the BBC were celebrating the event they included several women wearing Hijabs. I can only assume that was typical of the suffragette marches. The BBC never lies.

But one was much more subtle — maybe accidental, but maybe Shakespeare. There’s a moment when a guy asks Alexa “to play country music” and on comes sometime stripper now chart topping rapper Cardi B . . . She of “a hoe never gets cold” . . . Raising the question at least in my mind of whether this is meant like Shakespeare’s “country matters”; at least one other Alexa miscue skews sexual, the very funny Rebel Wilson reading of "set the mood".

I suspect that's reading too much into it, but you never know . . . would be funny if it somebody stuck a cunt[r]y reference into an ad viewed by millions . . .
