That used to be true but nowadays you can buy hamburger patties made of soy and they contain no beef and bacon made of turkey and containing no pork, ham made without pork also exists:

Ham is supposed to be the leg of a pig cured so companies that make ham not made with pork and call it ham are taking a bit too much liberties.

I guess no one holds a trademark on the word ham so you can't sue them for calling ham made with turkey, ham.

Try getting a pizza with ham on it if the pizzeria is owned by moslems; turkey ham, perhaps in miniscule small print somewhere.Some local authorities DNA test it to make sure if it does not say turkey.
