96 Minutes (2011)
96 Minutes (2011)
I enjoyed this film , with only 1 well-known actor/ actress in it , so its nice to see little known ( unknown )actors that you don't recognise getting a decent part - the only reason I found the film was I wanted to see more films which are featuring Brittany Anne Snow who is in all 3 of the Pitch Perfect Films - and is a fine actress , and well worth watching in this one .. " The story of 4 lives slammed together in a shocking moment. Intercutting between a carjacking and the separate stories of the 4 kids in Atlanta, we watch as they hurtle toward a life-changing end " |

.
I first watched this in about 1995. An enjoyable film with first class acting but the last half hour should have been condensed into 15 minutes. |

Muck (2015)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2207484/ Well I have to say I haven't the foggiest what this film was about It starts off with half naked and some guys running through a swamp area, they have been attacked by something, at least one of the group was killed and one is injured. Looking for help they come across an abandoned house, but their troubles are far from over. There's some off flashbacks to a St Patrick's day drunken night out, some bald albino homicidal bad asses and thankfully lots of naked women and somewhere in here a script that got seriously lost along the way https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEum2kzyhJY

As you are reviewing this film, I'd certainly be very interested to know exactly what you didn't like about it? |

The Adventures of Werner Holt (East Germany, 1965)
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0057816/ Compelling adaptation of the eponymous novel by Dieter Noll. Definitely worth seeing. Unfortunately, I do not know if there is an English dubbed version. It would be sad if not. |

Like almost every other Ryan Gosling film I've seen, this was another case of style over substance. Very dark lighting and an equally slow pace. Available on Amazon Prime UK at the moment. |

The entire 'art' industry of today is just a huge money laundering scheme. You just have to look at the prices at which 'art' is traded these days. Sometimes you have the luck of productive innovation, but most of it is rancid garbage. It is nevertheless quite successful because there are a lot of people with too much money who either can not tell the difference or are just interested in a temporary investment opportunity. The simple logic of knowing the price of everything and the value of nothing. Last edited by Nobody1; December 2nd, 2017 at 08:55 AM.. |

Totaly agree! All that's left is the classic movies, at least they have any sense and plot. Old garbage can be better than modern blockbusters.
Trancers (1984) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_sW4coCAR8(full flick) Helen Hunt as some kind of trashy '80s biker chick in there. Not bad for B-movie. Jack Deth (Tim Thomerson) is a police trooper in the year 2247 who has been hunting down Martin Whistler, a criminal mastermind who uses psychic powers to turn people into mindless "trancers" and carry out his orders. Deth can identify a tranced individual by scanning them with a special bracelet. All trancers appear as normal humans at first, but once triggered, they become savage killers with twisted features. |
