We do not allow youth/children to be posted in the Vintage Erotic Forum. Nobody under 18 years old.

I have a question about what is and is not allowed here. I guess it really comes down to the definition of the word "content." It's clear to me that photographs are "content." It's less clear to me whether my own words count as content or not. Suppose I want to start a discussion about either Playboy or Penthouse magazine down through the years--from the beginning to today. Or, say, a discussion about the evolution of the Playboy Playmate or the Penthouse Pet down through the years. Can I post such a discussion here? Or am I forced to arbitrarlily and artificially take a complete idea and unnaturally break it up into two incomplete parts, the one ending at 1995 and the other beginning at 1996? I don't see any section on this website where my one coherent, cohesive idea could have a happy home.

The section is called Vintage Erotic Talk…in this section we allow discussions of the Vintage era - 1995 and older only. But yes we do allow content and text in this section.

You'll have to pardon me as I am unfamiliar with old internet forum culture, which this seems like one of the last bastions of. What are these "thanks" that I need 150 of to post film ID requests, and how do I accrue them?

You accumulate thanks (hopefully) via making posts throughout the forum. You've received a few in your posts; try making meaningful contributions to any threads and they should come to you. Check out the discussion areas (both in Vintage and General Discussion and News) if you don't have content to post.
