My guess is that you posted a request in the thread which isn't allowed.

Magazine Requests
Forum for all your magazine requests, do not post your magazine requests in other Magazine Scan forums. Post to the assigned section when filling a request, NOT in Magazine Requests!

As a new member, it would be a good idea to read the rules for the entire forum and for the sections where you post (these can have additional rules).

It would also be a good idea to contact a moderator in the section where you have questions such as these. You'll see them listed at the bottom of the page of each section.

thanks for the reply

i posted my post/request in the said thread because i went through the whole of it and i've seen many requests like mine, many...

anyway, i think it's a strange way to welcome new users, just delete, no explanation... why did the admin not just move my post to the right thread?!...

question: where can i find my post so i can copy/paste it in the right thread?

kren

Your post was removed from the forum, as Eric Cartman says because it was posted in the wrong section.

We cant PM every member whose posts are removed, it is impossible. Its not our job to move posts to the correct threads.

I would familiarise yourself with the layout of the forum, learn where to post requests, etc.

It looks like you posted something about having seen a video. Most threads are reserved for content and replies without content or a link to content will usually get removed. For more specific advice you should contact a Moderator in the section you wish to post in. All their names are at the bottom right of the main page of each section.

peetime, some advice from a member who is not a Mod and was a noob not long ago:

More care IS required to post here than many other places. But for good reason. If this place was as casual about posts and their location as most, its value and function would have been destroyed long ago. The subject is SEX, the interest is too intense, the volume of members and posts too large. People must be able to find what is of real interest (content) without sifting through a sea of comments.

VEF is not a chat board. If you had advice useful to a requester, but not offering or posting content, PM is how to help him.

Many of us had "adjustment issues". I hope you stick around long enough to see what a great place this is. And Why.

Default Read the rules and ask for help from the moderators

Hi
I was a "lurking" member for almost 5 years before I started last Sep. to take active part in the forum.
I made my fair share of mistakes in the beginning, and still do,but not so often, and mostly I recognise them myself first.

My suggestion is that you read and check the rules before you try to post,in that way you learn quickly on what to do. If you´re not sure, send a PM to the moderators in charge of the sections, they´re always very helpful.

For example,I had a post removed, that I thought was ok,I sent a PM to the mods.,and got the explanation why the post was wrong,so the next time I did
it right.
As suggested above,"chat" with other members, comments about posts are easily done with sending PM´s to that member.
Most members also reply if you have questions about their posts.

I would also advise you to use civilized manner and tone, since we come from all over the world, with different ages, religions, views on life etc.,but we´re here for a reason,to enjoy the multitude of stuff on offering in the forum.
And no,I´m not from an english speaking country, but there´s always ways to solve any issue.

Thanks to all moderators and members of this great forum, who makes this a great place to be in,and participate in.
Cheers
The flu

No, you do not need to very careful what you say (as long as it remains within VEF rules) - constructive argument is always welcomed - but you do need to be careful about where you say it, i.e. try to make sure you always post within the most appropriate thread and follow the rules applicable to that specific thread. Otherwise you risk deletion without a notifying PM. Don't be too worried about making mistakes however - 'to err is human'. I have made many in my years here and still make some, despite my best efforts and experience.
