Norma Ann Sykes (born 19 May 1936), better known as Sabrina, was a 1950s English glamour model who progressed to a minor movie career.

Sabrina is from Stockport, near Manchester, England, as a teenager she was a junior swimming champion, at the breast stroke, of course.

In the 1950's she became famous modelling for glam magazines, she was up there with Diana Dors and Marilyn Monroe, profiting from the 50's obsession with the female breast, the bigger, the better.

She became a feature on black and white tv in the Arthur Askey show, her hour glass figure and prominent breasts being a bit of a shock for the prim BBC viewers. more used to the understated glamour of Katie Boyle.

She even made a cameo appearance in one of the St Trinians films.

She eventually quit the gray skies of the UK and moved to the blue skies of California, there she met and married an American surgeon.

Died November 24, 2016 (aged 80) Los Angeles, California, U.S.

As these pics show, Sabrina was a real looker, it's a pity her glam career did not go into the 1960's and develop into a movie career like Diana Dors and Jayne Mansfield
