25C and blood starts flowing Anything over 38C is horrible. I go outside on days that are 40C, you might have been sweating a little bit but it's gone the second you're out the door. The hot dry north wind sucks up all moisture. The gate and mail box become branding irons as its metal heated by the sun. Bare feet on concrete is walking on hot coals and you do the little hot hot hot dance as you run. Santa Claus and xmas songs about snow make no fucking sense. The flies are endless, mossie's vampires at night, deadly brown snakes pancaked on boiling hot melting tarmac.... Fuck I love summer!

With all those flies do you have to sleep with a special net that surrounds your bed just in case the flies get into your house?

Nah, they go away at night. But between some insect spray, a fly swatter and the dog, I don't get that many living in the house for long. Mosquito's are the little terrors at night.

But the flies are commies and the mozzies are militant feminists.

I was expecting irritating insects everywhere, not to mention deadly spiders & snakes, because it was high summer. But never saw a live one. Maybe they knew loosegoose was close
