I remember seeing this the 70's . I thought it was pretty good at the time , but I was very young , Nowadays I think I'd probably rate it as ' solid ' or worth a watch as a kind of sub James Bond thriller , For what its worth it gets a 6 out of 10 rating on IMDB .

It's great !

very much 'of its day' so you may feel it's dated (telephone boxes, etc), but a roaring Alistair Maclean action story.

I agree in all cases bar one. I'm going to stockpile toilet rolls because so many people give me the shits I certainly don't want to run out and have to use newapaper (as we did when we had an outside loo).

Reading the back and forth in the posts brought to mind the old joke.

In heaven the Italians do the cooking, the French make the wine, the Germans do the music, and it is all run by the British.

In hell the British do the cooking, the French provide the music, the Germans make the wine, and it is all run by the Italians.
