It was a Wile-E.-Coyote-like action when I was a kid. I put a stone on the ground, placed a board on it and another stone on one end of the board. Then I stepped on the other end. I thought that the stone would fly away, but it hit me in the face. Result: Scar at the lower lip and the top of my right cutting tooth isn't real anymore...

Default Oh, for the wings, for the wings of a doooooove...

Men's pushbikes have a triangular frame; women's bikes are modified to accommodate a skirt. I think the women's design is a lot safer. I borrowed a friend's bike and he forgot to mention that the seat would tip forward if you braked hard.....

Not good.

Almost killed myself at work last night, being a plain idiot.

I dropped my favorite screwdriver into a huge clay bin about 100 feet high,.
reached way over the guard rail to try and get it, fell in, just managed to grab hold of the rail, if i didn't it would have been bye bye as you sink into the crap fast and i was working on my own.

PS, lost the damn screwdriver for good

Big Grin fun with electricity

My heart goes out to you, bellesmyre.

I've also been electrocuted.

I was about 15 & I had just taken wet clothes from a washing machine & put them in the spinner, at the time a separate machine. You had to push a sliding metal contraption to get the spinner going. My hand was wet, of course.

Boy did I fly! About 3 meters, backwards over the kitchen table. My sister found me, 'cause I blew all the fuses & the power went out, sitting in the dark shaking, my hair all sticking up. I'm surprised I wasn't glowing in the dark.

Really, all I remember is a feeling similar to when someone jumps out at you & shouts 'BOO!' and you jump!

I have always been very careful around electricity since then.

You'll be more careful, then, next time. Won't you?

Tie the (new) screwdriver to your belt on a piece of string.

I have a whole history of injures.

When I was 2, I was shot by a scarecrow, when I was 10 I got hit by a truck during streetplay, fell a hole im my head a couple times. Ones I got stuck when I was digging a cabin underground. Broken ribs, broken foot, enkle. Onec I almost died when a fast car hit me and launched me 20 meters through the air.
Just last week on Saterday during Carnaval, I broke my hip during some act were a guy thought he could hit me with his mini-van. Well it worked, only I got so mad I lumped towards the drivers seat, opend the door and hit him in his face.

In hospital it was even worse, I was still drunk and they needed to flush my blood with infuse. Tried to pierce a needle in me 4 times and my arm was getting bleu. When they finaly found a vain, I had to wait a couple hours before my alcohol was flushed out of my body. 6 hours later I laid down on the table and they put me to sleep. I heard that they have to gave me a transfusion during the opperation, couse I losed to many blood. But they put another iron plate in me.

The painkillers I got didn't work at all, so I suffert the week in hospital. And now, I'm very scarred for magnets.
