TV shows with topless scenes - Page 48

Thanks a bunch for the scene from Live Now, Pay Later! I remember the film well, as the exterior scenes were filmed in Grant Road, Wealdstone, Middlesex, and a local shop was renamed "Porters" (I think!) to appear as the shop where Ian Hendry was employed as a salesman. I was at secondary school and lived in the area. Lunchtimes we would shoot out to see the lights and paraphernalia of a movie being made when we could. The school behind the wire fence where he leaps out of the moving car was an infants' and junior school called, funny enough, Grant Road School.

I don't recall the topless scene by June Ritchie at all, so this must have been in a different version from the general cinema release. Perhaps it was the foreign version? These were shot for the European market and tended to contrive to have the female lead showing bare breasts - a "No-No" in the UK. An example of this was Janet Munro's washing scene in "The Day the Earth Caught Fire".

Sorry to ramble on, but the old memories keep coming back!

I caught a bit of Brass on ITV last night. Does anyone have the scene when the daughters do a 'Lady Godiva'? (Gail Harrison & Emily Morgan) please?

Does anyone remember a wierd sci fi series starring Ian Hendry as the captain of a spaceship that encountered strange people. There was loads of topless scenes throughout this series but I can't for the life of me remember what it was called.

Can I just say that this thread has been the best thing I have come across in years!

I thought I knew a bit about UK TV nudity, but some of you guys here could write a book on the subject. I have been like a kid who has been given the keys to a sweetshop! Hopefully, I may have something to contribute, but I have a lot of checking to prevent re-posts, I am going to enjoy that

About 30 years ago, as a 19 year old aircrew trainee in the RAF, I watched the first 20 minutes of the BBC Horizon programme 'Let's Get Naked', before having to leave for a night flying excersise. I was struck by the young lady who was interviewed on the plane, whilst en-route to a nudist resort, about getting naked for the first time.

My mates told me she was featured naked later in the programme, I was so pissed off to have missed it. Now after 30 bloody years of seaching (it was not repeated, videos were not for the 'likes of me' then and a proposed DVD release that fell through about 10 years ago), I can see if they winding me up or not!!!

Now in early retirement in Spain after 28 years of service, I have about 5 hours for all the .rar sections to DL, and I am a very happy guy.

Another 'Holy Grail' was 'Annika', 10 years of searching the net (since I lost my VHS tape) and now I have two clips! What a great bunch of guys you are here.

So, (although rude to request on my first post), I have two more 'Holy grail' clips that you might just know about.

I hope you guys like a challenge.....

The first was a 30 minute BBC2 play from about 1978 about a party; a group of friends arrive at the party and discover that it is 'fancy dress', they are shown into a room to choose some costumes from some spare clothes. One girl (played by Elizibeth Bell, possibly sister of Annie?)cannot make up her mind what to wear and after much discussion she has a bright idea,'I will just have to wear my Birthday Suit then' and promptly strips naked (not quite FF, if memory serves me correctly) and walks out into the party full of other guests totally naked.

Challenge number 2......

Maeve, shown on the first week of Channel 4 (1984?) was a film (made by the BFI) about living in Northern Ireland during 'The Troubles', that were at their peak then.
A very cute young teenage actress (Mary Jackson) played the title roll and at one time was shown sitting in an old tin bath in a shared bedsit, talking to her sister, (who is also naked on the bed, having used the bath first)!!

This got my attention

, but my eyes popped out 10 seconds later. She gets out of the bath and continues her chat fully naked laying on the bed, with no attmpt (as so often is the case) by the camera to hide her very cute 'mousy' pubic hair, which is on full display (the camera is almost at her feet looking upwards, I seem to recall

) for several seconds. Again, something that has never been shown again on TV.
