CVS Pharmacies to stop selling tobacco

I've been smoking for 42 years (since age 13) and buy ciggs at CVS.
Still, I applaud their stance - as a health related facility - to not sell an item that has been proven to be harmful to human life. With that policy in mind however, I am curious why they do -and will continue - to sell all the ingredients necessary to cook up a batch of Meth over-the-counter.

As with any private enterprise, CVS has (should have) the right to pick and choose what products it sells.

However, IMO the argument that it is not right to sell tobacco over health concerns because it does not meet with the image of helping people stay healthy falls short if they still carry sweets and fatty snacks.

Your thoughts?

Only for a few months they have started selling BEER! My wife was shocked. I was happy enough but their prices are not too good.

Don't forget they still sell alcohol too.
