No one wants to be like this, the world we live in is dragging us into this situation.

Well i don't 'hate' the homeless per se but a couple of years back, as i was walking home from work one night I came across that group of hobos at a street corner. As i was walking past them, one asked me for some change and i honestly didn't have any on me (only had a credit card), i simply apologized, shruggin' my shoulders. But as i was walking away, one of them called me a cheap fuck and told me to go fuck myself. I looked around and was 2 secs away from turning into Malcom Macdowell's character from Clockwork Orange til i remembered that it wouln't be worth going to jail for.

If they spent a 10th of the 305 million on just dumping the homeless in another state, they would probably achieve better results. I think the Red Chinese would have a better result if they were hired to handle the problem. Like they did with their drug problem, one bullet in the back of the head of all dealers and cold turkey jail time for the addicts. If they die, they die. No great loss. You only have so much resources. Spending it on the mentally ill and addicted homeless is pissing in the wind and saying how refreshing it is. To hell with them. |

So last year a count of the sheltered and unsheltered homeless in San Francisco showed less than 7,500 people. So they plan on spending 305 million on them, over 40,000 dollars per person. Why work for minimum wage and get about half of that when you can just get it for free?
San Francisco wonders why they have a homeless problem? I have doubts about government efficiency and can only see more homeless heading there if they actually do provide 40K of support for each homeless person. |

Perhaps we could send these all to the Calais area and have them join the queue for the UK?
https://www.ocregister.com/2018/01/2...-will-they-go/ They seem to have some people with bicycle skills - https://www.ocregister.com/2017/11/1...homeless-camp/ I believe most speak English. If cities can spend 40k apiece to support them, we can afford a ticket to France. The lowering of crime and the increase in quality of life in these neighborhoods seem to be well worth the cost. |

I notice in the US in 2017, the homeless percentage was .17% 554k out of 327 million. I was wondering how Russia handles the problem. https://homelessworldcup.org/homelessness-statistics/
In 2016, Russia had 5% of their population homeless - ? Five million people - can this be right? I would have thought it to be lower than our numbers. Lots of articles about them dying of hypothermia. http://www.russialist.org/archives/7002-10.php https://sg.news.yahoo.com/surviving-...031421920.html I guess Russia doesn't spend 40k per homeless person and lets winter handle them. |
