I still read the stuff on and off, so I've not limited my list to books I read in the 70s.

Michael Moorcock was a mate of the owner and turned up there once or twice.

Don't forget to remember the man who during the 50s and 60s made sci-fi and fantasy visible: Ray Harryhausen.
Without his preliminary work Alien, Jurassic Park, and 2001 - Space Odyssey wouldn't have been realized. http://www.rayharryhausen.com/ http://www.harryhausen.de/ Watch his creature list, and watch young Raquel Welch being hunted by dinosaurs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9kmjW73-v4 |
