What is your style - Page 9

I wear cargo pants/trousers a lot as the numerous pockets come in useful and I feel that my wallet and keys etc are going to be safer in a button down pocket on the side of my leg than they would be in an ordinary 'hip' pocket or the back pocket of jeans etc. Also, you won't feel them digging in to you as you sit down like you would in the hip pocket.
I tend not to wear shirts with a collar very often or trousers with a crease as this means ironing and ironing is one 'chore' that I hate with a passion.
I suppose my 'look' (if I have one) could be described as slightly 'military' but not in the smart uniform sense - more the 'combat fatigues' sense and in 'earthy' colours such as brown and dark green.
I'm just a suburban warrior at heart.

I have given up on clothing. I think it was a wise choice but for some reason people always give me funny looks when I go to the supermarket!

I never wear advertising, they should pay me, so no slogan shirts, ever.

A little subtle logo is acceptable, particularly as most seem to in build into the desigh of the shoe, trouser, or shirt.

Jeans and short sleeved shirts (not "T's)

Classic!

Just brought a pair of Loakes brogues, cost a fortune but they are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned.

I'm a big fan of Charles Tyrwhitt, I've had some nice shirts from him.

That's weird! I had some Loakes brogues (expensive) but found them extremely uncomfortable with rather thin and hard leather uppers. They ended up at the charity shop, hardly worn. Just shows you - horses for courses.

Agree on the Tyrwhitt shirts though - lovely soft feel - but the best shirts for summer I've found come from Primark and cost £5.50!

I'm sorry to hear that.
My brogues are the Penrith or Bedale chukka boot style. I'd definitely buy Loakes again.
I have brought Primark but I find Primark shirts age and look worn very quickly, not something I've found with Charles Trywhitt. I'd also recommend Charles Trywhitt chinos as well.

Due to accident damage I have a paralysed left lower leg and cant move my foot so getting any footwear on is a chore. I also need a boot that will take a socket for my caliper.

I used to wear Loakes twin-zip boots. They were ideal for me. They stopped making them for general sale years ago but continued to make small batches for folks like me that needed them. Then they moved production overseas and guess what - no longer available..

Good quality boots though.

for me , White Socks , Trainers ( Adidas or Nike ) G-Star Raw Jeans ( used to wear Diesel Jeans - but the choice is better in G-Star ) one of my Strontium Dog T-Shirts , An Aviation Print T-shirt
or a Famous Film T-Shirt
and my Lakeland Leather Brown Jacket with an interior name patch ' George Preddy ' honouring the Top Mustang Ace of WW2 .

Guys of a certain age will recognize the Cardigan ........
( I got it made specially in Romania from Merino Wool )
