Flash - In The Can
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MJOYrMgecMs With the vinyl stored in the loft, due to a lack of space, picked the CD up yesterday, with a few others on a jaunt of the local charity shops |

for those feeling a little feral.
I was going to title this "and now for something completely different.
When I was a lad of 13 or so, I walked into the local newsagents and bought this record, for half price. My mate who lived in a pub two blocks away had been in, changed the price and went to get some cash when I walked in, unknowingly. I worked there for years as a paperboy, anyway. Good album. One of three 'Chicken Shack' recordings (?)_ and the veteran from the 1950's , is on some kinda Ry Cooder type of trip. A mate of mine I used to ride to tech with had this 'on' in his car for months... 'Beans and Fatback' is now only available on a CD ("Wray's Three Track Shack") - a converted chicken coop!! combining the other two albums from this early 70's period. This is the only one I like, with the exception of the last gospel number I noticed recently the record selling for 70 English pounds. Wonder what this ones worth? As the true legend died a few years ago, unfortunately. R.I.P. A lot of guitar jams are based on Link. Unfortunately the track called "Right or Wrong (You Lose)" isn't on Youtube. Nor is 'Waterboy' Youtube is a damn Alabama Electric Circus (Apologies to anyone from Alabama. Maybe you guys have it.) |
