When I was a teenager I wept a few tears after seeing the film clip to Art Garfunkels "Bright Eyes" from Watership Down. From that point on I swore I would never go and see the movie for fear of humiliating myself in public
Is here for those unfamiliar with it...

I still find it a very sad clip even today when I hear it on the radio.

I once had to change carriages on the tube as I got to the last few pages of "Tom's Midnight Garden." Still does it, every time. Even the recentish lousy film version does it.

The scene in "A Canterbury Tale," where she's walking down the road where all the shops have been bombed out.

Any scene where the story starts coming together in "Quatermass and the Pit."

Bits towards the end of "Ghost World."

Actually, there's lots of films - it's as often a bit where the story starts playing off as an emotional bit, though - a nicely constructed plot can often do it for me.

I do not get affected in the same way by real life things, for some reason.

What always gets me, is when Tom Hanks sees his son the first time in Forrest Gump.
I wasn t allowed to see my son since 1992 (because of my violent, criminal life, and my heavy drug and alcohol abuse in my past). they said, that I m a risk for his moral growing up. later my ex got married, and I said ok to the adoption by her husband. I don t know, what he does, if he s ok, where he lives, I have no right to get informations bout him, because of the adoption. And thats the point, this scene gets me, when Forrest asks, if his son is normal.

And i cried like a child, when my cats passed away...

I cried when I found out Keanu Reeves was going to play Spike in the live action version of the Cowboy BeBop.

Parts of The Elephant Man did it for me. How sad that whole story was...

Towards the end of "The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou" when they're all in the submarine watching the shark and the Sigur Ros song starts playing in the background. Every stinking time I see that, I start blubbering. Also, a couple of nods to "Big Fish" and "Finding Neverland". Hell, I'm just a sappy guy.

"Rudy"-when he gets accepted to Notre Dame I bawl like a baby. Every time.
"Field of Dreams"-When Ray asks his dad for a catch I weep like a little girl.
"Saving Private Ryan"-the end of the movie when the older James Ryan tells his wife to say he's a good man. I dare you to not cry at that.
