Being a limo driver near two major cities, I get to meet a lot of celebs over the years. Most of them were very nice. A few are stuck up as you'd imagine. If I ever decide to write a book, I can guarantee some juicy tales. Here's a small sampling.

Michael Keaton. First celeb I ever recall meeting. He was in Tower Records during the filming of Beetlejuice in '87. I think I was the only one who noticed him because Im such a movie geek, I can spot a B-movie or character actor from two blocks away.

Curt Schilling (MLB pitcher Phillies/Arizona). He was my first celeb driving a limo. Drove him to his house after his final Phillies game. He was in the backseat giving a phone interview to Sport Illustrated. Good tipper even though I took a wrong turn and he had to show me how to get to his house.

Harry Belafonte. The only time I've ever been starstruck on the job. I wasn't even his driver. I physically bumped into him by accident while I was watching other stars on the red carpet. I turned and there he was and my voice went silent. I could barely get a word out. But he shook my hand and talked with me for a whole minute before he walked off to his limo. Class act.

Bill Maher. He had me come to the hotel and pick up his assistant and take her to the train station. Very attractive and petite black woman with green eyes, who I later found out was not his assistant but his girlfriend. A woman well-known in urban circles as Karin Steffans aka "Super-Head", a hip hop video vixen whose been in videos for 50 Cent, Jay Z, R. Kelly and Chris Brown.

George Carlin- Picked him up the same year he passed. Very humble, down-to-earth and generous man. Good tipper. R.I.P.

Joan Rivers- Got to drive her a few times years ago when she would come to QVC (online shopping network) in West Chester, PA. Naturally funny lady. Always spoke to and signed autographs for anyone who came up to her and said they were a fan. Very good tipper. R.I.P.

Cindy Crawford. Picked her up last year at QVC and drove her to NYC. Woman is still hot. Still looks like she could strut on the runway. Can't tip for shit though.

Justin Long. The young guy from the Mac vs PC commercials years ago. I pick him up at the airport and has no I.D. on him whatsoever because he left his wallet at his apartment in L.A. All he has to show for identification is a dvd box of one of his movies. He's apologizing to me left and right because he doesn't have money to even tip me. True story.

Danny Bonaduce (Partridge Family). Total ass who thinks more of himself than anyone else does. Pretty much a grown up carbon copy of the kid he played on tv. He was on South Street trying to call someone out for a fight.. Basically trying to show off for a group of girls he just met in the bar. Of course there were a ton of cops nearby who could save his ass if he started losing. I call him Danny "Bonadouchebag". Fortunately, someone else had to drive him that night.
