No hotties but a fat guy dancing and other funny stuff in one of the best opening sequences ever. Vogues track 5 o'clock world and the Drew Carey show. The only time I have heard yodelling and not wanted to administer a molten lead enema.

The Bonanza theme compels me to state - the show known world wide as "The Dick of Death Show" - because Lorne would marry, mate and then the wife would die in childbirth three straight times.

Good thing Hop Sing couldn't have children or he would have died too.

I state "world wide" with confidence because I told that comment to one of my friends who was in Desert Storm and he said "Bonanza" was one of the few American shows that aired on TV over there - with Arabic subtitles - and because he repeated it, all of his troops would start yelling "The Dick of Death Show" is coming on - as they rushed to find spaces to watch it.
