During his playing days at North Carolina State University, basketballer Charles Shackleford spoke to a reporter after one game about his talent driving the lane:
"I can shoot with my right hand. I can shoot with my left hand. I'm amphibious."

While playing for team USA in Greece, Shaquille O'Neal was asked if he'd had a chance to visit the Acropolis:
"We didn't have time to go to no clubs."
