First mag i actually bought was probably Mayfair..about 1975/6 or thereabouts.
I do remember a friend giving me some copies of a little Forum sized mag
called Beautiful Britons or something similar. Anyone remember those?
I thought they were great at the time..so easy to conceal from the parents lol.

This was the first mag I ever bought. Volume 11 No. 8, from October '76 (I think). Just seeing the cover again gives me shivers of excitement when I remember the thrill of buying it and looking through it...

I can't remember the first magazine I ever saw, but the first I ever bought was Club International 3(12) 1974, bought one November afternoon truanting from school. I had a thing about black girls for years afterwards just on the strength of the set featuring the girl on the cover:

The first 'girlie' mags I saw would have been my dad's stash of QTs and Spic etc, the small UK mags from the late 50s early 60s when I found them in the 60s. It was in one of the QTs that I first came across the wonderful Rosina Revelle, my avatar, an image that I come across again here on VEF thanks to Wulfram.

First mag I bought for myself would have been Parade, late 60's early 70's

First proper porn would be Private around the late 70s when I started to travel in Europe for my job.

First non-straightforward porn mag was Sex Bizarre, a damp passion that has remained with me since I first found one in Amsterdam in 1980 or thereabouts.

Hmmm had to think about this one, I remember the VERY first full frontal mag I saw was KNAVE and my friend showed me and I thought OMG! and to be honest I didn't like it because I was used to Page 3 style pics instead, but the first one I got was at 15 and it was probably Parade-wow! I haven't bought a magazine for ten years thanks to the Internet-unless you count foreign ones I have got from Ebay and my German contacts-however a lot of those were finally junked last year-after being scanned of course.

First I actually bought?? That would have to be the Nov. 1990 Penthouse (US)... I had turned 18 only a few days ago and was at the Indianapolis airport to fly home for Thanksgiving.... went to the newsstand to make my first legal purchases of cigarettes (Marlboro Reds) and adult material. The Mag's been lost for a long time now, and I got thoroughly plastered with a friend who had an in the 1st class lounge beforehand so I really don't remember much about the magazine other than trying to read it (fucking cross-eyed drunk) right there at the gate, in plain view of all the god-fearing Indianans(?). In fact, I really don't remember how I got through the security gate...


OK, I'm probably just guessing, but maybe this issue had and article profiling famous "thug" hockey players entitled "Hockey's Hit Men"... can anyone verify or disprove?

I vaguely remember accidently opening a desk drawer on my parents room when i was about 14, and saw the cover of a silwa special mag.
