The best live album will always be Stupidity by the mighty Dr. Feelgood. A great band caught in their prime.

Don't listen to live albums much. Maybe i should, anyway a recording by Jimi hendrix i like that features on the box set. It's called Hey Baby/In From the storm live from Maui Hawaii 1970. Blocked on Youtube as per usual by SME.

Allman Brothers Live at the Fillmore has been, is now, and will always be the best live album.

Default Jeff Beck - Live @ Ronnie Scotts

I forgot about this one

......................................

I'd made up my mind to buy Jeff Beck Live at Ronnie Scotts after seeing most of it on YouTube, (although most of it's been pulled off now for copyright reasons) when I found numerous copies (DVD and Blu-ray) in a cutout bin for $3.94. The Blu-ray has an extra 'rockabilly' set.
I bought numerous copies to give to friends.

Sometimes I put it on to watch one piece and end up watching the rest.
The video footage is very well done, no doubt a benefit from shooting at close range. It is expertly edited.

The Ronnie Scott version of Imogen Heap's 'Blanket' <surpasses this one and is worth price of purchase alone.
I have the CD as well.

The Bob Dylan 30th Anniversary Concert Celebration from 1993 is amazing. A couple of dozen of Bob's friends showed up for a four hour show at Madison Square Garden to celebrate one of America's great musical talents.

Among the highlights are a venomnous take on "Masters of War" by Eddie Vedder and Mike McCready, a sublime rendition of "The Times They are A-Changin'" by Tracy Chapman, Neil Young trying to raise the ghost of Jimi Hendrix with an all-out assualt on "All Along the Watchtower" (and damn near succeeds), a dank version of "Rainy Day Women #12 & 35" by Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, and an all-Hall of Fame version of "My Back Pages" with the verses sung by Dylan, Petty, Young, Eric Clapton, George Harrison and Roger McGuinn.

Among the others appearing in the show are June Carter and Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, the O'Jays, Lou Reed, Johnny Winter and Richie Havens. The musical director is G.E. Smith, the house band is Booker T. & the MG's and Sheryl Crow and Cissy Houston are a couple of the back-up singers.
