Or why those soulless ghouls at Amazon made us twiddle thumbs for nearly a year and a half , over the rest of the season
Oh wait I know. Because they decided to sit (I said sit) on those other episodes As they despise human beings feeling happy. A real pain given , Rocks

Grand Tour
I realise it has been out for a little while - but I finally got round to watching Season 2 of the GRAND TOUR - from Clarkson , May and Hammond - and its just wonderful The best thing that could have happened was them leaving the BBC ( the new Top Gear is apparently crap - and I have refused to watch it since they kicked Clarkson out of the BBC ) as they have re-found their mojo , and the production values and photography are world-class - and the programme is so much fun - its a joy to see them having fun |

Channel Zero: The No End House. Even creepier and more unnerving than Candle Cove. Now for season 3.

Some new Military dramas on are pretty good although they wander into soap opera shit a little bit (who's fucking who crap)
The brave, seal team, valor and strike back which has been around for 6 years. Not to forget the Brink which for non Americans is probably the funniest show on TV. |

Phew! Thats the last episode of Call The Midwife which wrings out every last drop of emotion from each story although there are light moments. Mind you the birth scenes are enough to put women off having babies for life. Christmas episode starts filming in July and will be shown Christmas Day evening this year followed by a new series next year.
Very good series which I hope will be back next time was Shakespeare and Hathaway, a detective series with loads of Shakespearean clichés(if you can spot them) shown in the afternoons on BBC1 and finally it is interesting watching a load of re-runs of Top of the Pops(once Europe's biggest pop show) from 1981 and 1982 and seeing some good singers/bands but also remembering what utter dross was around then like The Tweets-Birdy Song and making number one as well! You can catch 1985 at the moment and 1982 on BBC FOUR. There are a lot of gaps but I think that is because some episodes maybe have been introduced by the disgraced Jimmy Savile and Dave Lee-Travis.

Eight Days That Made Rome hosted by Bettany Hughes, the same Historian who did the series on Buddha, Socrates and Confucius. Brilliant. She is ever bit as informative and interesting as Mary Beard. |
