imagevenue not displaying images

This just started happening a couple of days ago for me. Instead of getting images when I click on the preview image on VEF, Imagevenue takes me to the image's page but displays the image as a broken link.

I know it's not my script blocker being unable to adjust to something new imagevenue is doing because I tried it on Microsoft Edge (which has no blocker as I rarely use it) and I got the same result.

The only other possibility is Avast. It's been throwing virus warnings every time I open a different imagevenue page. Imagevenue and Avast used to be coexisting just fine together with no virus alerts so something has changed. And since it's Avast it would impact Edge just as much as it impacts Chrome.

But I'm loathe to disable Avast given the possibility that Imagevenue is actually broadcasting something unhealthy.
