I am speechless-which is unusual for me. I cannot believe it, my old mate BB not around anymore? He and I became good friends indeed he was rapidly catching me up in posting to the Things Noticeable thread, and I know he really enjoyed sparring with a few people on there. I wasn't aware he was ill at all and I shall miss him, his informative posts and his constant referals to Mrs BB. A real character and he was always fun and informative as well as a good mate off forum, via his many PMs to me. I tried to help him out when I could and he did me a few good turns too. May he rest in peace.

He was a true character, who knew his own mind and would not be swayed by spurious arguments like facts. I miss the Irish bastard, may he rest in peace.

I am truly saddened by the news of the passing of billybunter. With the loss of erdnuss, VEF has lost two lights too soon.

Also saddened to learn of his passing a few days ago. Had a lot of discussions with him outside of VEF and always he could make me laugh. Saw him briefly on facebook a few weeks back and sent him a message, but he was logged off by the time I had sent it.

It's just not going to be the same without Billybunter and erdnus

I keep him touching memories, amused as he knew to be, always malicious, and I liked that side of him.

One of the wiser ex mods on VEF who we learned a lot from always used the words community and family when talking about VEF.

BB was and always will be an elder of the VEF family

He and I had a lot of heated private discussions. Fact is, I had a part in giving him a one month holiday from VEF some year and a half ago, we valued his membership here greatly and saw that rest of VEF did also. When he came back, he and I still had a few minor disagreements, but over time he and I found common ground and it was a pleasure helping him after. Just my way of showing how this place works just like a family, one BB should be proud of being a member of and we having him.

We'll all see ya one day again brother BB
