"You're Beautiful" by James Blunt. Creepy song about a guy who's obsessed with some random stranger he saw on the subway. And that irritating, screechy tenor makes me want to scrub out my one good ear with steel wool.

Agree 100 percent. Maybe Madonna's "Die Another Day" was meant to sound "edgy," but it's just dissonant and ugly.
