Don't you know about Asian laptop sockets? They are delicate, designed and made only for gentle entry and removal of plug. If you are careless or always using strong force for in and out, sideways, up & down, etc., caring only about your plug and not fragile inside of socket, damage is sure to come.

It is very difficult to give any hints on how to fix this without a picture and a type-number of the machine. Normally, the power supply is external to laptops (for good reasons) and there is only 16-20 volt fed to the laptop. But there have been so many versions.

Alas, without picture and without machine type-number there is no chance in hell to give any hints for fixing...
