Imagehost Problems, Imagebam, Imagevenue, PimpAndHost, PixHost, ImgBox etc

I can't stand Imagevenue, really too messy (even If I've an account there since 2009.

I recently re-upped a few dozens of posts on Postimage : fast & easy.
Choice of thumbnails and positioning (row, columns) are correct, galleries simple to create, etc. On more they allow Gifs.
The main problem -and thanks to effCup who noted it- is they don't retain the original name of ur pic when u download it : no matter if u named it "Conchita gaping", u'll download a pic named "image".
The pics are stored with their correct names but impossible to download the real name with the pic

That's problematic for real collectors or simply to identify ur downloaded pic...

Thanks to effCup again, I tried to log on Pixxxels with the same username and pass : so, Postimage and Pixxxels are the same site as I retrieved on Pixxxels all my pics & galleries posted on Postimage.

With the same problem about downloading a pic without its real name

It's a total mess. But I'm really confident about the energy, knowledge and inventivity of our members.

its to help others that don't often upload
photos to the forum -

I started saving my photos using the number system several years ago. If I know the model's name I use the system for example Nancy_A75. Once I get 100 photos of a model I make them their own folder but keep numbering their photos. Or if it's a particular genre I have a folder for that, "Vintage Nudist", "Pl@yboy", etc.

But I still have thousands of images unnamed from when I starting saving them before I started my system or if I just don't know anything about it and have saved it as whatever it was called originally.

I tried and I had the same problem with your post as you do. Weird. But it opens as postimg, not pixxxels. What if you upload directly to pixxxels?

Not sure if the Mods would be ok with a multi gif post with all images doing this. Its Chrissy Teigen by the way. If wrong for putting the image up let me know and I'll take it down.

There's not much anyone can do about the DCMA removals. I was thinking more along the lines of a membership fee as a potential remedy/solution to keep the hosts from going belly up. If we could keep those two hosts "alive" many members would not lose any of their material/posts or be scurrying to save them, and to spare you Mods of the laborious messy cleanup aftermath.

At least in the Modern section bub, you need to link strictly to a thumbnail of the GIF. Not the animation itself.
