Bridgett Rollins had the kind of interesting, real-girl beauty that is so woefully lacking in most of today's models. To me, she's a thousand times sexier and more appealing than any of the current waxed, tattooed, pierced, shaved, big-haired professional naked women pumped full of silicone and collagen.

I couldnt see Terri doing porn deliberately, she wasnt that kind of girl as far as I knew her and I think she was exploited and tricked into it by unscrupulous people, she always looked sparkling and happy on page 3 and in the DM. She was a lovely girl when we were kids. |

A lovely lady.
I spent some time with her at a film festival some years ago ad she was extremely nice, very warm and affable. She was a voracious flirt and loved the lens no matter who was holding the camera. It was really sad when she went. I remember not being surprised, just saddened.

D. Stratton
Dorothy Stratton's death was nothing short of horrific. I read the file on her murder about twenty years back and a few things stuck with me. She went to see her soon to be ex to essentially say goodbye and give him closure. She told her then boyfriend the director Peter Bogdanovich and a few others she was going. She made the mistake of meeting him at his apartment alone. It's probable that Snyder, (a serious creep who dressed like a pimp as was very much a Svengali type) made her undress and it's not clear or not if they had pre-mortum sex. He shot her in the face at a range of about three feet with a double barrelled, over-under twelve gauge. She put her hand up and turned away from the gun at the last second, the tips of her fingers on her right hand were blown off and the shot went into the right side of her face. (Both films made about her got the details wrong, she was not laying down but was more than likely sitting up.) Snyder then raped her dead body, re-loaded the gun and blew his own head off.
Side note, Bogdanovich became as obsessed with her in death as Snyder was in life and for years mourned her. It's been reported that he even dated her much younger sister for some time when she came of age. I don't know how true this is. He was the one that wanted to make a version of her life story centering on her murder entitled "The Killing of the Unicorn". No one wanted to back it as "Star 80" had just been released and the subject was just so grim. This is stuff I got from people I have known in Hollywood over the years so I cannot say how true it all is. I do know that she was a really sweet and caring lady that wanted so much to please that she married Snyder not because she ever loved him but she felt she owed it to him for starting her career. She really didn't belong in Hollywood. Very, very sad. |

Mel Appleby
Multi-racial girls are my absolute favorite and this lovely lady was so sweet and beautiful. It's sad when we lose them but to lose her so young is a true tragedy. I must ask, why her? There are a hell of a lot of other people that I would rather see gone than her.

I have found this particular thread most interesting. Being a "senior citizen", this has caught me up to date on the passing of those hundreds of stars I have worshipped during my years. Thanks to all of you for your input.
