Beautiful girl, one of my favorites. No need to touch up anything. These pics look more natural, like she is outside camping.

It's a shame that there's not a really good booty pic of Alana. There's that one epic face down ass up shot from the front, a couple pics from the side, but no really good pics of her behind from behind. Compared to, say, Lynda Weismeier or Justine Greiner, to name a couple busty PMs from same era. It's as if the photographer was so transfixed by her epic tits that he never thought to say "Hey, Alana, turn around."

There's a similar gap in the Cathy Larmouth portfolio.

I've got to agree, Alana is one of my favorites too. She may be small, but her breasts are anything but small, and she's got a great bush too. Her boobs and bush are amazing, but it would have been great to see the face down, ass up shot from behind. Because even though there aren't that many pictures of her butt out there, she does have a nice, curvy butt. This one of her behind is one of my favorites, and I hate to admit, but I always get a boner looking at it.

She told Playboy that her shot at becoming a Playmate happened completely by chance.

The studio in Salt Lake City she attended for a fashion composite was shared by two photographers, one of whom was Stephen Wayda (of Playboy fame). Wayda thought the busty brunette (34DD-22-32) had Playmate potential and suggested she apply for a test session.

We know what happened next

Agreed, very few pictures of her butt. I have posted the one I could readily think of, along with my favorites showcasing her frontal assets.

Big boobs on a small frame look really amazing, and you have to remember that Alana Soares stood only 5' 2". Also, her waist was a tiny 22", so it's not surprising that her bustiness carried such appeal. She was barely 19 when she posed for her centerfold shoot.

That said, it's a pity we didn't see more of her derriere. The "face-down-ass-up" pose is a great look for any Playmate. It'd be strange if an experienced photographer like Ken Marcus didn't get full value out of his subject by paying due attention to her backside, so I guess there was an editorial decision to focus on Miss March's front view.

yes, as you mentioned Ken Marcus-I believe he shot Bridgette Monet in the 3/84 bunny issue and he featured her butt in several shots when many didn't. With Alana it would be more appealing as she had a nice rounded one whereas Monet's was less so though nice.
