Giovanni Battista Viotti was a violin virtuoso and composer during the entire Classical period. He also was a director of opera companies in Paris and London. Viotti is most remembered for 29 rather long and good violin concertos he composed. Triple Martini - 22.
Nancy Wilson & Cannonball Adderley, eponym lp, 1962. Michel Legrand, "La piscine" OST, 1968. Eddie Higgins Trio, "Bewitched", compilation 2009. Indian Autumn = triple martini + vodka + jazz + ballads. Suave Nancy Wilson with Cannonball Adderley (alto sax) quintet, feat. Nat Adderley (cornet), Louis Hayes (drums), Sam Jones (double bass) and a very young but proud austrian Joe Zawinul on piano. One of the best Michel Legrand soundtracks, here with himself and his sister Christiane on vocals, plus Stephane Grapelli on violin solo. Eddie Higgins, dead on 2009, was and still is a great but underestimated pianist. With Jay Leonhart (bass) & Joe Ascione (drums) here on a well known theme by... Michel Legrand. Nancy Wilson & Cannonball Adderley -Save Your Love For Me Michel Legrand -La Piscine main theme Eddie Higgins Trio -You Must Believe In Spring

I've been watching JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and the Stardust Crusaders series' closing theme is this. I just got to the episode that first had it and I was all "Oh you fuckers," knowing this song very well beforehand. Now I can't get it out of my head, seems to be a thing with 80s pop songs. |
