'Donna Lee Z', Gallery's Girl Next Door of the Month (Aug '79 - OP is from that issue, in which she was named 'Donna Lee') and the Year (Nov '80 - 'Donna Lee Z'). Also Stag Jan '80 ('Donna') and Gallery Mar '85 ('Donna Lee Z').

I'm slightly confused here.

However...

Donna Lee Z. was Gallery's "Girl Next Door of the Month" (Aug '79) - an insert of that original set is in the 2nd picture in ripchord's quote post in the OP.

Now, I'm not 100% certain that the '85 covergirl and DLZ are one and the same, but it would follow that any reference to a "return", the juxtaposition of the picture from the old set and the new and a fair resemblance between the two - the slight difference in appearance between a woman of, say, 20 and 26 and changing fashions in make up and hair-styles? - would more than hint at that fact.
