When I as younger I thought it was all kinds of stuff, but now that I'm older I realise it's drink in moderation and only good red wine.

This is the answer!
Quote:
Plenty of water and paracetamol. Definitely the best if you take them before you go to bed, and again, if needed, when you wake up. Lots of water. If you are taking Vitamin C, I suggest you avoid orange juice - I have seen very nasty throw-ups several time with other people, so never touch it now if I am hungover.

I havn't a clue how to cure one because I don't get them. I do drink enough but I don't get anything. So all I can say to those that do is "Poor baby".

Tis the smugness that comes with not having something that others suffer from.

Drink VODKA
Proper vodka. I've never had a hangover/headache for the decades I've been a proper vodka drinker. Been drunk, out of one's head etc, at parties/footie etc.... never a repercussion... I'm sorry. It might be our metabolism, or it might be our avoidance of "chemically-enhanced" beer/ lager and in recent years, long-shipped wines. Like tobacco, putting chemicals into a 'natural' product, to sustain it's shelf-life and transportation, can cause problems. Thankfully... imo.... headaches are the least problem. My advice would be to drink naturally developed alcohol. Avoid mass-produced beers/lagers and so on. Stick with your local micro-breweries who have no need for chemical enhancement. Trivia: In a Wodehouse novel, in the UK after Wooster had returned from the US had drunk heavilly at a party... had " a hangover"... a new and recent term amongst the 'idle-rich' (as they were referenced without political meaning) Jeeves his butler asked what he had drunk the night before. We only drank American wine you know, they make Gin in bathtubs over there you know... And the wine is how old? Got to be at least 3 months since we bought it back..... Perhaps too young sir? Crikey Jeeves, they said it lasts forever. Good people you know.... my headache is to do with Aunt Agnes..... apropos Best I can recall |
