I have become enamored with this 60’s sexploitation starlet, seeing some of the movies posted here at VEF. I had never heard of her before I discovered this forum.

She is the topless go-go dancing, LSD-eating, swinging sixties icon that I discovered 40 years late. She is the hot, glamorous, slutty, belly-dancing, cigarette-smoking, high-maintenance trophy wife I could never afford.

Her body was 30 years ahead of its time, fit and skinny with perfect silicone tits, a look that is popular with all the Hollywood types nowadays, but in the 60’s, most guys preferred a softer, rounder look. I appreciate the classic 60’s look myself, but something about Pat has cast a spell on me. It could be that intoxicatingly beautiful face, the bedroom eyes and beestung lips, or it could be that I love a nice tight tummy, and it’s unusual to see a girl with 6-pack abs in old B-movies.

Here is all the info I could get on her, little more than what is shown on her IMDb page:

Pat Barrington was an extremely buxom, curvy and drop-dead gorgeous blonde topless dancer who popped up in a handful of enjoyably trashy softcore sexploitation features throughout the '60s, often for producer Harry H. Novak's Boxoffice International Pictures and directed by William Rotsler. Born in 1941, she achieved her greatest cult cinema fame as the female lead in Stephen C. Apostolof's unintentionally hilarious horror camp hoot Orgy of the Dead (1965), in which she also performs one of her patented steamy nude dances as the painted Gold Girl. Barrington had another rare substantial starring part as a bored housewife who works as a high-priced call girl in the seamy The Agony of Love (1966). More often, though, the stunning and spectacularly alluring Pat was relegated to secondary roles as a go-go dancer in such delightfully down'n'dirty low-grade fare as Mantis in Lace (1968), The Girl with the Hungry Eyes (1967) and Sisters in Leather (1969). She appears as herself in both the lurid mondo item Hedonistic Pleasures (1969) and Russ Meyer's blithely silly documentary Mondo Topless (1966).

She was also a talented belly dancer, and appeared as such in some mainstream movies and TV shows. She seems to have used the name Camille Grant in her more mainstream appearances.

I’d love to know more about her, for example her real name? Her real hair color? She changed the curtains often, but we never got to see the carpet. (I think she looks best as a brunette) And could those possibly be real breasteses? 1965 seems pretty early for boob jobs that nice, but how else could she have visible back ribs, and still have such great gazongas? And did she just vanish off the face of the earth after 1969? Does anyone have any of her pre-1965 stuff?

I’ll start with “Passions at Dusk”, which appears to be an 8mm color loop. I don’t know what year this is, or any other information. It is the only clip I’ve seen where she gets completely nude, although there is no full frontal. I like her dark hair in this one.

1965

After distinguishing herself in the world of topless go-go dancing, Pat set her sights on Hollywood, and what better breakout role could she choose than starring in one of the worst films of all time, written by the infamous Ed Wood, "Orgy of the Dead".
She plays 2 roles: the main character Shirley, and the ghost who worshipped gold in life. The full movie is HERE
Below is her gold dance number, along with some scenes that display her marvelous acting ability. She is by far the best actor in this unintentionally hilarious stinker.
Pat has red hair in this one, and in her dual role, gold hair.

’65 was a good year for Pat. She was also featured in Russ Meyer’s “Mondo Topless”, performing on a … high voltage electrical tower? This time she’s blonde.

1966

Her big dramatic breakthrough came in “The Agony of Love” (1966), as a neglected housewife with self-esteem issues who works as a high-priced prostitute on the side. In this melodrama, she charges big bucks to strip down in front of fat sweaty guys and roll around on the bed with them, but never takes off her panties. The full movie is HERE (thanks itsmehere)

1966 was apparently a big year for Psychedelic movie titles. Pat appeared in 2, of which I cannot find clips.

In ’66 she also appeared in “All the Way Down”, as a stripper (a stretch) I’ve got this on order, and SWV orders are running late, so I’ll upload it when I get it.

Some really crappy movies were made in the late 60's, for the growing hippie demographic, giving them something to watch while on an acid trip.
Hedonistic Pleasures was one. Pat Barrington, using her "Camille Grant" alias, had top billing, although she only appeared in these 2 scenes, and she got to do her belly dancing routine.
